Tailored Instruction and Expert Coaching

We aim to evaluate and determine the specific structure of each golfer to provide coherent golf instruction, fitness training, and skill development for elite golf performance. Coherency… everything should be working towards a goal. Our model is the only golf performance institute that includes instruction, fitness, and skill development based on the human’s archetype. Each facet of instruction will be tailored to each individual’s structure, strengths, and weaknesses.

Chris walkey is an elite golf instructor currently teaching at PGA West in La Quinta, CA and is a partner in Helix Golf Institute in Murrieta, CA.

Chris has been teaching for 30+ yrs and his stable of students have included members of the World Golf Hall of Fame, PGA Tour winners, LPGA tour winners, college golfers and has had 4 number 1 ranked Jr’s in the US.

He has been ranked by Golf Digest in its biannual list of best teachers in state as a top 50 instructor in CA from 2004 to 2024.

Chris also has invented golf training aids most notably The Power Package used by such players as Rickie Fowler, Tommy Fleetwood and Phil Mickelson.

Chris has an innate ability and a keen eye for the golf swing as to make swing changes that are seamless and give the player confidence immediately.

Dr. Mike Kay

Complex human movement has always fascinated Dr. Mike Kay. For as long as he can remember, he has studied the specific ways in which high-level performers competed.

Dr. Mike received formal training at Chapman University in Physical Therapy where he earned his doctorate degree. The subject of his Doctoral project was in rotational sports/injury prevention. After graduation, he continued to learn from the best until he was ready to create his own principle-based approach for elevating sports performance.

During his career, he has worked with athletes at every level, including college, and professionals from MLB, NBA, NFL, PGA/LPGA, NHL, UFC, Olympic Track and Field, and others. 

Dr. Mike’s treatment style is dynamic, enabling him to move from clients dealing with complicated chronic pain to a top-level athlete looking to maximize their potential. He continues to work on developing and implementing specific exercise and manual therapies to help alter complex dynamic movements. He is considered a thought leader in the field of sports performance and injury. 

Currently, Dr. Mike continues to focus on consultant roles with PGA Tour and Major League Baseball players. Dr. Mike also serves on the Swing Catalyst advisory board. Swing Catalyst is a sports technology company. 

Dr. Mike also consults with Clemson University in relation to their baseball and golf teams respectively.

Tony Greco

Los Angeles born but raised in Plano, Texas. Started golf at the age of 12 and played for two years at Sam Houston State University. Tony then went on to finish his Associates Degree at The Professional Golfers Career College.

Tony would play professionally on and off for many years. During that time he worked with many different coaches and grew a true affliction for the golf swing and the mechanics of what makes this complex movement functional.

His teaching career began with the John Jacobs Golf School, and always kept his playing career in the forefront. He taught part-time in the Newport Beach area,  eventually landing in Murrieta, California at the beautiful Bear Creek Golf Club.

He had early success as a coach as he led Tom Pernice Jr. to a victory on the Champions Tour in 2016. That win helped propel Tony's career... leading him to teach some of the best juniors, collegiate players, and mini-tour players on the west coast and beyond.

Tony’s past and current students have included Tom Pernice Jr. (Champions Tour); Brent Grant (KFT, PGA TOUR); John Chin (KFT, PGA TOUR); Sydnee Michaels (LPGA TOUR); Kevin Dougherty (KFT, PGA TOUR); Harry Rudolph III (Champions Tour); Amari Avery, and countless other high-performing juniors who have landed Division 1 scholarships.

Player Development/Short Game Instructor

Braeden Koran

Braeden Koran, a native of Southern California, found a passion for golf at age 13.

His dedication and talent on the golf course led him to pursue a collegiate career at CSUSM.

After his college golf career, Braeden decided to take his passion for golf to the next level by becoming a professional golfer. He competed on mini-tours and q-school, experienced the highs and lows of competitive golf, while solidifying his love for the game.

However, Braeden's true calling was discovered when he transitioned into a role as a golf coach for juniors. His unique perspective as a former professional golfer allows him to provide valuable insights and guidance to his students both physically and mentally.

Teaching and watching his students succeed gives him more satisfaction than competing for himself. With his love for the game and competitive background, Braeden aims to pass along his valuable insights to younger players to improve their performance.
